Biovera is a Canadian organic skin care line that sought to breach the skin care market with their own line of natural and beneficial products for skin, hair, and body. They are continuous innovators and heavily invest in research and great partnerships to reduce the cost for the end-user. The money they save on marketing, is used towards improving the quality of the product. Biovera shared their outlook on product formulation and aspirations for their company in 2023 and beyond.

Talk about a roadblock or a challenge you faced as a business owner; have you overcome this? If so, please tell us how you did or how you’re working on it.
Some time ago we had to find more effective natural preservatives for some of our products, especially the ayurvedic scrub, vitamin e cream, and multi-vitamin cream. After much research we found a lab in Germany which offered a solution by using part of the orange peel molecule. This natural method of preservation proved to be very effective and allowed us to avoid use of chemical preservatives.
What inspires you to keep going every day?
The knowledge of making quality products which benefit the well-being of consumers who choose to use them.
How did you know you had a good product-market fit?
When I had a look at the type of consumer who is shopping at natural health stores and after analyzing the competitive environment.
What are your aspirations for your brand 10 years from now?
Appeal more to younger consumers, while continue to offer great organic value for money.
